The Stories of Old collection was born of lengthening nights, settling in to the dark of the year, and gathering close—the telling of ancient tales, tucked in around the table as the winter wind rises, held in an atmospheric amber glow. Our hand-crafted pillar candle in traditional golden toffee beeswax flourishes in poetic clusters, and its evocative shape makes a beautiful focal point for bigger gatherings or rituals. Their very subtle honey scent is naturally present in the beeswax, and is unobtrusive. Beeswax burns cleans and bright and is virtually dripless, although all candles should be burned on a heat-resistant surface, and away from drafts. They are made only of 100% local beeswax and an unbleached cotton wick, and are hand-crafted in small batches in my garden studio.
